If you love a good adventure film, be super excited, because the Banff Film Festival World Tour is hitting South Africa again for it’s 5th year and after watching a special pre-screening of what’ll be shown on the tour, I was absolutely blown away!
Last year was the first time I’d watched films from the Banff Film Festival, so when I walked into the cinema this year, I knew every person in that room was in for a treat!
I have to say that the selection for this year’s tour really blew me away and I walked out at the end of the evening really inspired to go out and do cool sh*t!!
Tickets for the tour will be going on sale from the 1st of October and screenings will take place in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Port Elizabeth from 3 – 12 November 2017.
You really do not want to miss out on this annual journey into the lives of adventurers around the world so make sure you book your tickets in advance on the Ster-Kinekor Website.
An added extra to your experience is that you’ll get to watch the WINNER of the 2017 Cape Union Mart Adventure Film Challenge, “One Fly at a Time”, which I helped judge. South Africa has some AMAZINGLY talented human beings, that’s for certain!
Watch the Trailer to the 2017 Banff Film Festival World Tour, of which there are only snippets of my favorite film about the surfing community in Iceland, “The Accord”. It’ll have you crying with laughter and left breathless with some of the incredible sights that country has to offer.
