Day 12 of the 24 Days of Pain is the official halfway mark for the series of PAIN to celebrate, I stepped on the scale again to check my progress and I am 5kg’s down from when I started!
The weather in Cape Town was not as amazing as previous days, in fact it was a bit chilly, but I still managed to get some pain in by hiking up Lions Head again! This time though, I hiked up around the side without the chains to see what the views are like that way and they are amazing! If you are too afraid to climb up the chains, then certainly do it without the chains because it is a lot easier and a lot safer too. The only thing is that you add an additional 10 minutes onto your hike if you are walking slowly, but you get to enjoy the different sights so its worth it.
After the hike, myself and Carlinn drove to the V&A Waterfront to get me some new clothes because Saturday (Day 13) we are flying to Johannesburg for the Smirnoff #ExploreTheNight party that I won back in October! We then made our way to the Thai Café for dinner and then went home to get an early night.
