Day 14 of the 24 Days of Pain was a painful day indeed because when I woke up at 7am not knowing where I was for a minute because things got a little out of hand at the Foo Fighters Concert the previous night Smirnoff ExploreTheNight. When I realised where I was, the pain in my head started throbbing, but I knew that it was totally worth it because the concert was INCREDIBLE!
Hangovers are never fun, especially when you have to fly but the flight back to Cape Town was certainly lightened up when all of a sudden there was a big announcement over the plane’s PA system saying the following:
“Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a special announcement! Two of the passengers on board our flight today seated in 50E and 50F by the name of Michael Eloff and Carlinn Meyer just got engaged! Please join us in congratulating them…”
More was said, but by that time I was crawling under my seat because it was a prank played on us by the hooligans that joined us on our trip to Johannesburg with Smirnoff. All is good though because we scored 2 mini bottles of champagne and a magnum of wine out of it haha! Thanks SAA for the gifts, but apologies that it was all just a prank haha!
When we got home, we chilled out for the rest of the day and then landed up grabbing KFC for dinner, as one does when suffering from the massive hangover we were stuck with…
