Cancer is a horrible disease and it comes unexpectedly to those you love without warning, which is why men all around the country are gearing up for the next Daredevil Race by taking the Darecember Challenge.
The Hollard Daredevil Race, designed to raise awareness for testicular cancer, will be taking place on the 19th of February and this 5km Race can ONLY be run in a purple speedo, if you dare, but to get things kicked off, Hollard is daring men all over South Africa to take the Darecember Challenge!
The Darecember Challenge is to do something daring in your city wearing nothing by a purple speedo!
As uncomfortable as it would be to run around completely vulnerable to chirps, I’d be willing to do it just to show men out there too scared to go get tested for testicular cancer that if I can let thousands of eyes check out my junk, men too scared to go get tested by one set of eyes should really just do it!
I’d like to challenge ALL men from around South Africa to take up the Darecember Challenge by doing something daring in a Purple Speedo and tagging the photos you’ll need to upload to social media with #Darecember!
If you’d like to take part in the 2016 Hollard Daredevil Run, you’ll be running with thousands of men around the country in what is looking to be the biggest Daredevil Run EVER!
Thousands of men from Cape Town, Jozi, Durbs, Nelspruit and George will all start the annual 5km race simultaneously at 3pm sharp on the 19th of February 2016. More cities are still to be confirmed, so I’d keep an eye on their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts for more info coming soon!
The race is for a rad cause to raise awareness for a disease that affects 1 in 6 men around the world, so I’d like to urge everyone to take part because all proceeds will go to Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA).
