The new Africamps Addo Premium Tents sleeps only 2 people

Currently all 19 Africamps Camps have their standard set-up which sleeps up to 4 people. There is a double bed on one side of the tent and a bunk bed on the other side.

The new Africamps Addo Premium Tents are the first of their kind and are PERFECT for couples. This romantic tent has only one king size bed and a more romantic feel.

What’s included in a Africamps Addo Premium Tent?

These new 58.6m² tents come standard with these features and ammenities:

A super comfortable King Size Bed (with electric blankets in Winter)
A big en suite bathroom with dual basins and a walk-in shower (big enough for 2)
Fully equipped kitchen (dual-burner gas stove, fridge, Nespresso Machine, plunger, microwave and basic essentials)
A centre cooking island with 2 barstools
Various Lighting Options as well as plug points to charge your camera batteries (TOP TIP: BRING YOUR CAMERA)
Elevated Deck with outside furniture to chill and eat at
The Wood-Fired Hot-Tub is a no brainer for a romantic holiday (and this one only takes a couple of hours to get super hot)

Addo Elephant National Park is only a 15 minutes drive away

The whole point of coming out to Addo would be to see the Elephants of course. So, if you can pull yourself away from your romantic getaway, take a drive to the Addo Elephant National Park to and enjoy a self-drive around the park.

There are various waterholes to check out and MANY different routes to drive when you’re there to see The Big 5. That’s right there are Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Black Rhino and Buffalo.

If you head to the park, expect to spend a minimum of 1 hour to see just one waterhole. But make a day of it and see if you can spot all Big 5 animals.

Activities in and around Africamps Addo

During your stay at the Africamps Addo Premium Tents, there are loads of activities to do in the area. So if you have a partner that loves running, hiking or mountain biking, there is LOADS to do AND MORE.

Just chat to the host that checks you into your tent upon arrival to book one of the e-bikes available to rent, or to find out where each trail will take you.

There is a trail for everyone, ranging from a short 5km trail, all the way up to a 20km trail.
